Farm bill
I know where to get the money for President Trump’s wall and border security. Take it from the biggest welfare fund in the country: The farm bill — $816 billion. $5 billion would never be missed and would benefit all of the U.S.
Aquatic center
Mark Bliss’ report of Wednesday’s Aquatic Committee meeting indicated the proposed facility would be built at the Jefferson school site if April’s school bond issue is approved. The available funds will limit the scope to a 25-yard competitive pool and a small warm water pool. Why not pursue the Penzel idea, delay a decision for a year until input and commitment could be received from the City of Jackson, the county, Jackson public schools and parochial or private schools. The possible result — a larger facility connected to the SportsPlex with larger maintenance cost participation and serving the broader Cape-Jackson communities instead of just South Cape. The only possible loss would be a year if additional participation could not be obtained.

Farm Bill: $816 billion - that must be a very large farm, wonder how many acres is it and where is it located.
Aquatic center: What is exactly wrong with the present aquatic center? Can it not be repaired at a smaller cost or is the City Fathers bent on spending more money of the tax payers. Even if federal money is used, where do you think that money comes from - yes, the tax payers.
And that's the way it should be according to Schaefer's World....Saturday January 5, 2019.

Trump is the one who said he'd take the blame for the shut down . Trump is the one who can't find $5 billion out of the $600 billion Defense Spending for the biggest threat to National Security . Just spend more and more .
