Heads up: Regions sent out a notice that if you use your ATM card for anything other than an ATM withdrawal you would be charged $4.00 per month.
My checking account was sold to be fee free as long as I had my mortgage with Regions. Surprise!

I had gotten accustom to using a debit card for all purchases. It seems the only way to avoid this monthly charge 1. ATM cash withdrawal and pay cash 2. pay with credit card and pay off every month.

Thank the Dodd-Frank Act Financial Regulation Act. This is brought about by the additional cost of regulation as the draconian legislation is being applied to our banking system.
